The 249Labs site and Open Lantern platform are provided by 249Labs Inc. We use the terms “249Labs,” “we,” “us,” and “our” interchangeably to refer to 249Labs Inc.  We use the terms “249Labs websites” interchangeably to refer to 249labs.com, openlantern.com or secure.openlantern.com. This Privacy Policy describes 249Labs’s use and sharing of your information that customers voluntarily provide to 249Labs when they register in our products and services.  The Term “User” refers to a registered customer. The terms “your information” refers to the information you provided during the registration process.

 

On occasion 249Labs may modify this Privacy Policy to reflect industry initiatives, changes in the law or changes that we decide are our appropriate.  Your continued use of the 249Labs websites after 249Labs posts a revised Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. It is therefore important that you review this Privacy Policy regularly to ensure you are updated as to any changes. If 249Labs materially changes its practices regarding collection or use of your information, your information will continue to be governed by the Policy under which it was collected unless you have been provided notice of, and have not objected to, the change.

 

Data gathered: When 249Labs collects data from you it is because you are voluntarily submitting Registration data to us in order to register as a user of 249Labs websites. In addition, 249Labs collects other data including IP address, geolocation information and other technology information. This data is used to manage and improve the 249Labs websites, track usage, and for security purposes.

If you have consented to receive promotional materials (e.g., newsletters) or notifications from 249Labs, 249Labs may periodically use your email address to send you such materials related to the company, as applicable. If you want to stop receiving such materials from 249Labs, you can follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

 

249Labs employees, agents and contractors must have a business reason to obtain access to your data. 249Labs may share your data with those who help us manage or provide 249Labs websites information activities (for example statistical analyses, and data processing).  These outside contractors, agents or sponsors may temporarily store some information on their servers, but they may only use your data to provide 249Labs with a specific service and not for any other purpose.

In addition, 249Labs uses reasonable methods to make sure that your data is accurate, up-to-date and appropriately complete.  249Labs does not knowingly collect data from users under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please DO NOT USE Open Lantern.

 

You may at times have the option of posting information about the 249Labs websites to other social networking service like Facebook or Twitter. You acknowledge that if you choose to do this feature, your friends, followers and subscribers on any social networking services you have enabled will be able to view such activity.

 

Whenever required, 249Labs websites customers may review the registration data we maintain about them in our records. If they wish to make changes, please contact us at privacy@249labs.com to initiate the change.  You will be asked to verify your ID before such changes can be made.

If you ask 249Labs to stop using your information, 249Labs will honor that request while retaining any record of your data that is necessary to comply with our applicable federal, state or local law.
